Chicken with Sweet Potato, Brussel Sprouts, Zucchini, and Spinach
Recipe by: Candace

Ingredients:
3Lbs Ground Chicken
3 C Sweet Potato
1 1/4 C Zucchini
1/2 LB Brussel Sprouts
1 1/4 C Spinach
1 C Chicken Bone Broth
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
6 Eggs
Directions:
Peel and dice the Sweet Potato into small bite size pieces.
Quarter the brussel sprouts and cut the zucchini into small pieces.
In a pot boil the sweet potatoes until fork tender.
Remove the sweet potatoes from the pot then boil the brussel sprouts until soft.
Remove the brussel sprouts then cook the spinach in the same pot.
Strain the spinach and set aside with the other veggies.
In the same pot add the 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil and cook the zucchini.
When the zucchini is soft add all the veggies back to the pot and stir to distribute the coconut oil.
Set the pot to the side.
In a big soup pot cook the ground chicken.
Once the chicken is cooked add all the vegetables to the soup pot.
Scramble the eggs with the remaining 1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil.
Add the eggs to the soup pot.
Add the Chicken Bone Broth to the soup pot.
Mix everything in the soup pot until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Let cool then give your taste testers(dogs) a try.
Split the dog food into ziploc bags and containers. I split mine into 2 16oz containers for the fridge and the rest goes into a ziploc for the freezer.
To serve I give my dogs anywhere from 1/3 c to 2/3 c. I find that my dogs prefer their food to be warmed up versus cold right from the fridge. To do this I just microwave it for 15 to 20 seconds. Don't forget to test it to make sure it isn't too hot.
IMPORTANT - I do not just feed my dogs this. I feed them a mix of home cooked dog food and kibble. How much I feed them relies heavily on how many treats/snacks they guilt trip out of me in any given day and what snacks/treats those are. My dogs also receive vitamins daily to help balance it all out.
